Glasgow warrants it's previous title as the UK city of Architecture and Design 1999, with a collage of Victorian and ground breaking modern architecture available on every street, from the glass/metallic Science Centre to the Gallery of Modern Art or the medieval Glasgow Cathedral. Glasgow also boasts the best shopping in the UK outside London and night life and culture to rival most major European cities. Described by 'National Geographic Traveller' (The worlds most read travel magazine) as "The coolest city in the UK" for it's abundance of modern art, architecture and culture; Glasgow is unsurprisingly one of the most desirable destinations in Europe today

With Glasgow also being the European capital of sport in 2003; why not take the tour on one of our many sports stadiums? (Glasgow being the only city in Europe to have over three football (soccer) stadiums over 50,000 seating capacity) and learn the history and rivalry of our teams, their achievements and our pride in our national sport.

During their stay, visitors are also encouraged to take advantage of Glasgow's more cultural side, namely our many publics parks, museums and cathedrals, including buildings dating back to the medieval ages. All of which are very accessible, with the Guesthouse being directly in the route of many inner city buses, and train and subway facilities nearby.

Glasgow, as many have expressed before, is an unforgettable experience for any visitor, with so much culture, amenities and history; memories of Glasgow will last a life time.
