-by train: to "hauptbahn" (fancy new station), from here take the „S-Bahn" (fast train) to station "warschauer strasse". Outside the station you find a road (on a bridge), turn Left, downhill towards a roadjunktion (trafficlights). Cross diagonal, walk along the "wall" (former berlin boundary wall), second opening/entrance you will see the boat and sign. (approx 12 min from station 'ostbahnhof' to boat)

-by car: all motorways to berlin lead you onto the "Berliner Ring" (A10) (highway ring around berlin) .take any exit leading you to "Berlin Zentrum", look out for
signs directing you towards "Mitte"/ "Alexanderplatz" .From here you drive towards "Dresden"/ "Köpenick" , from "Holzmarktstr" you drive further into "Mühlenstr" (remember, there are many 'Mühlenstr in Berlin!) (the former "wall" on your right). Almost at the end, the last but not least opening, you will find "eastern comfort" hostelboat and a sign.(a live-saver-ring!!)
