Directions By Air: From the (Pearson) Airport: Take the Airport Express bus to Union Station (the main train station) across from the Royal York hotel. Then... By Train: From Union Station (Bay and Front): Take the TTC subway University Line, north to Queen's Park station and take the College streetcar west one block past Spadina Ave. and turn left (south) on Augusta Ave. By Bus: From the Bus Station (Bay and Dundas): Take the Dundas streetcar west to Spadina Avenue, and the Spadina streetcar north to College Street. Walk one block west on College St. and turn left (south) on Augusta Ave. We're the 2nd building south of College st. on the West side, 280 Augusta Ave. By Car: - From the West, take QEW to Gardiner Expressway or from the 401 go south on 427 to Gardiner Eastbound. - From the East, take 401 to Don Valley Parkway South to Gardiner Expressway. Exit the Gardiner at Spadina Avenue and go north. Turn left (west) on Dundas then at the 2nd right, go north on Augusta to #280.

Our location in the Kensington Market offers guests the chance to experience outdoor cafes, market stalls, pubs, boutique stores and more—directly outside our front door. The hotel has been completely renovated and includes a choice of shared dorms or private rooms. We look forward to welcoming you to Canada's largest and most exciting city!

Global Village Kensington is a perfect choice for short and longer-term accommodation in Toronto for students, backpackers and budget travelers. This newly renovated building (formerly known as College Hostel) offers 48 clean and comfortable shared and private rooms. Free wireless internet access is available in every room and all private rooms offer writing desk, cable television, private balcony and free local phone service.
