Directions from Los Angeles International Airport:

Option 1: Public Transportation

Step 1: Catch the Flyaway bus from the lower terminal level at LAX. Its final destination will be Union Station. Look for a green sign that reads "FlyAway, Buses and Long Distance Vans". (Upon arrival at Union Station you will pay $7.00)

Step 2: From Union Station, take the Metro red-line subway ($1.25) towards North Hollywood. Get off at the Hollywood/ Highland station. Hollywood Youth hostel is right across the street from Hollywood/ Highland metro station.

Option 2: Prime Time or Coast Shuttle van

Follow signs for "Shared Ride Vans" outside the LAX luggage pickup area and take Prime Time or Coast shuttle bus. There should be an attendant wearing a red uniform. Explain to the attendant that you're going to Hollywood Youth Hostel. Give our address which is 6820 Hollywood Blvd. to driver or attendant.

Directions from Greyhound Hollywood:

Make sure your bus is arriving at the Hollywood Greyhound station - not one of the other Los Angeles stations. Walk south on Cahuenga Blvd., cross to the south side of Hollywood Blvd. And turn right heading west on Hollywood Blvd. You will see Kodak Theater building and Chinese Theater. Hollywood Youth hostel is right across the street from the Kodak Theater.
