Our hotel, which maintains all the charm of a typical Salzburg-style house, has recently been completely renovated and equipped with all the modern conveniences.

With our spacious rooms - most of them with a view overlooking the garden - rivalling those of many four-star hotels, the Hotel Zur Post is one of the most attractive three-star establishments in the city. The hotel consists of the main house ("Zur Post") and two adjoining houses (Haus Renate, across the central garden and Haus Georg). In our rooms you will find furniture made from locally-grown wood, Italian style furniture as well as precious heirlooms from bygone times. All the rooms are furnished with an eye for detail and offer every comfort one could wish for.

Our large rooms have either shower or bath, toilet, hair dryer, satellite TV with English, Italian, French and Spanish channels, Premiere TV, direct dial telephone, radio, modem connection. Some rooms have also a minibar and a safe. Take the opportunity to reserve a non-smoking room, if you wish. A wheelchair accessible room is available.

You can park your car free of charge in our parking lot and enjoy the relaxing and convenient bus ride into the centre of the city which is less than five minutes away (bus-stop "Eichetstraße" in front of the house). If you would like to get some exercise and explore the city on your own, rent a bike in our hotel. If you bring your own bicycle or motorbike, we will provide you with garage space at no additional cost.
