City of Lobamba in Swaziland – The Sky Scrapper City
Traditional as well as legislative capital of Swaziland, City Lobamba in Swaziland is also known as the Sky Scrapper City. It is also the seat of the Parliament besides being the residence of the Queen Mother.

Getting Around
Lobamba is approachable through the main airport at Matspaha towards the north of Manzini. Several small airstrips are also dotted around the country. In addition, Lobamba has good system of bus services, mini bus, and taxis running at the shorter routes. Though roads are good, some of them are rough as well. Driving down the Ezulwini Valley in heavy traffic can be very slow and dangerous. It is good to let a guide accompany you on the city tours.
Festivals in Lobamba
A couple of ceremonies in Lobamba are the Reed Dance that is celebrated in the months of August and September in the honour of Queen Mother and the Incwala held in the month of December and January in the honour of the king. Including dancing, singing, and celebrations in traditional attire, these celebrations are great attraction for any visitor.
Other Places of Interests
A number of game reserves exist in the country including the Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary as well as the Mkhaya Game Reserve those homes the endangered species of white and black rhino, antelope and elephants.
