How to Get Here

If you are coming from Nadi, fly to Nausori Airport or travel by bus (3.5 hour scenic drive) to Suva. Raintree Lodge is a 12 minute drive from Suva City. From Nausori Airport take a taxi ($12 FJD). From Suva take the local 'Saweni' bus (Tacirua, Bus Company) from Bus Stand next to the market in Suva, 90 cents, children halfprice, runs every hour, 6am7pm, ask to get off at Raintree Lodge in Colo i Suva. Taxis from Suva cost $8.00 to $9.00 FJD.

Raintree Lodge.

Raintree Lodge is the first fully designed Ecotourism lodge in the Fiji Islands and opened September 1999. Raintree Lodge is located right on Princes Road, Colo-i-Suva (pronounced Tholo-ee-Suva), opposite the Police Post and next to the Forest Park and the Forestry Department.

Princes Road is the scenic alternative route between Nausori Airport and Suva. Raintree Lodge is approximately 15 minutes from the airport and 12 minutes from Suva. Trips to Suva are easy by local bus or taxi, at doorstep.

Accomodation
Total occupancy 82 people, including a mix of accommodation ranging from dorms., private double rooms, twin rooms and bunk rooms (all with share facilities) to 5 detached bures that feature queen size beds, bar fridge, ceiling fan, tea & coffee making facilities, private bathroom facilities, balcony overlooking the lake.

The Bures have ceiling fans in all rooms, mosquito nets, tea and coffee making facilities, en-suites, TV, bar fridges and balconies. The Bures have been designed to take advantage of the superb views over the two lakes.
