Dublin's newest hostel, the Shining boasts a clean, bright and friendly atmosphere.The Shining Hostel is situated in the heart of Dublin's City Centre, just north of the River Liffey. 1 minute walk from bustling O'Connell St and the GPO. 2 minutes walk from Connolly Railway Station and Busaras, the main bus depot. Trinity College and Temple Bar are within 5 minutes walk.

Fantastic kitchen with everything you need. Tea, coffee, milk and sugar available for free all day.Great lounge area, plenty of seating, with large TV, video and internet. The addition of a rooftop garden with a barbecue has proved to be very popular with our guests.

Bus Number 41, this bus runs approximately every 15 minutes. Travel to the last stop on
Marlborough Street. The Shining Hostel is on Marlborough Street. Approx cost: Euro 1.90
Bus Number 747
An express bus service, which runs every 15 minutes. It will take you to the main bus station, Busaras.
Turn on to Talbot Street and walk towards the City Center to the junction of Marlborough Street. Approx cost: Euro 4.50
Taxi
Will leave you outside the door of the Shining Hostel. Approx cost: Euro 25.00
From The Ferry Ports
From Dublin Port, there is a bus to the main bus station, Busaras. Turn on to Talbot Street
and walk toward the City Center to the junction of Marlborough Street. Approx cost: Euro 1.50
From Dun Laoghaire
Take the DART to Connelly Street Station and follow Talbot Street towards the City Center to the junction with Marlborough Street. Approx cost: Euro 3.20
From Busaras (main bus station) Walk from the station on to Talbot Street
and follow to the junction with Marlborough Street.
