History
Warsaw’s history is marked by tragic events such as plagues, devastating fires, invasions and uprisings. The World War II brought with it the darkest days in Warsaw’s history with the Germans almost completely annihilating the city.

The Palace of Culture and Science is Warsaw’s most notable and tallest building. It was gifted to Poland by the Soviet Union and allows visitors to enjoy stunning city views through its 30th floor viewing area.
Lazienki Park with its stunning walks, monuments such as the Frederic Chopin Memorial statue and musical concerts organized every once in a while in its rose gardens, is a complete holiday getaway.
