London A City of Dreams

Who would like to miss an opportunity to visit London? When I got one, I grabbed it with both hands. Though it is an official visit, I know that I am going to make the best of this opportunity. With its tall buildings and scenic beauty, London has fascinated me since I was very young.

Travelling to London is easy. Being a capital, it is well connected with other countries. Seeing the whole of what London has to offer, would take ages, isn’t it? So I sat in front of the laptop to know the most popular destinations that I would certainly visit during my forthcoming tour-cum-holiday.

I found that Houses of Parliament was a good choice to start. Flashing great interiors, it is an exquisite part of London’s political set up. Another place worth a visit is the tall and handsome Statue of Eros and the busy Leicester Square, located in the heart of London. Having a spectacular view of Central London with the London Eye, especially on a moonlit night, is worth giving a try.

I also came to know that visiting London is incomplete without paying a visit to Tower Bridge, an excellent example of Victorian workmanship, Tower of London, for a quick glance to Crown Jewels, Oxford Street, Westminster Abbey, the popular Birmingham Palace, Camden Market, Kew Gardens, etc.

But I came to know that London boasts of a good hotel network. One can stay at a luxury hotel or private apartment. If budget is a constraint, one can also stay at one of the budget hotels or youth hostels accommdation located in the city.

With this, the night went by with London dreams. Looking forward to a great weekend -officially and personally!
