 Armrest -Air Planes

Armrest Fight on Airplanes - Armrests will never be wide enough to share by
Armrests on air planes will never be wide enough to share.

The age old fight to gain control of the armrest on airplanes continues to this day, travellers want to feel comfortable and rest their arms on the armrests but in Airplanes they are not really wide enough to share for two strangers sitting next to each other

On a plane the only way people travelling can somehow try to share the armrests, is to use one each, so everyone in a row uses either the right, or left armrest, but as soon as one person decided they want both arms on the armrest another passenger will loose out.

If your are travelling with your loved one, lets say husband and wife or couple, you can use the same armrest as you don’t mind squeezing and having your arm nearly on top of the other persons arm, but when strangers are sitting next to each other it must be pointed out that arm rests will never be wide enough to share, because most people don’t want their body to touch the person sitting next to them

If you think about it clearly its obvious, the armrest would first of all need to be at least the same width as the average two arms plus a little bit extra, making the seats a lot wider, and there the cost of the flight higher taking more money away from your hotel, hostels accommodation and holiday spending money.

This is not new, if you travel business or first class the armrest fight does not exist as the seats are spacious and the armrests ample.

So really the question and issue is not how and why we should share an armrest in Economy class but why does the budget traveller always want everything but are not willing to pay for it.

Its not because budget travellers are greedy, its just human nature, we all want a bargain and wish we could get more for our money, so in conclusion the armrest fight will continue until you can afford or decide not to travel economy class, and upgrade and travel in business or first class.

Until then the arm restfight will continue
