Barcelona Spain is a historic city with lots of amazing places to visit, nothing shows this better than the most famous and iconic sight of Barcelona the La Sagrada Familia Cathedral, which was designed by Gaudi.

The Church has always been a monument that you either love or hate, with the majority of visitors to Barcelona and tourists loving it, to this day it remains unfinished, although the interior was finally finished in 2012 and is now open to the public to view.
Each year millions of visitors to Barcelona head to the La Sagrada Familia church and now holiday makers and travellers have the added benefit of being able to view the inside of the church, but the outside is still far from finished, if you don’t want to queue for ages waiting to get inside and look around then its best to visit either before 9am or after 5pm when its less busy and you have more time and space to soak in the ambiance.

The Cathedral is very popular because it’s a recognisable monument and icon for travellers worldwide, just like the way visitors to Paris would have Eiffel Tower as one of the must visit places when they get to Paris.
