London great place to social network

It has been said many times over that the world is a diverse and amazing place, filled with countless people, languages and cultures. Each offers different sights, sounds and experiences.

It would take a lifetime to visit all these places and definitely a lot of money.

On the other hand there is a unique way to get a taste of these different cultures and meet some of the amazing people our world has to offer, take a trip to the vibrant, 24 hour capital city of England, London.

There is no need to plan trips or pay a travel guide to show you what the city of London has to offer.

Just walk into any London Bar, Restaurant, Cinema or Bowling Alley and you will find a whole host of people from the world over, some on holiday, some locals and others that are working or studying in London.

That’s what I did the other day, I went to Surrey Quays (Canada Water) Bowling Alley where I met a group of international university students and friends chilling out, after work at the restaurant they work in part time called Iroko, which is an African Restaurant, they were having a relaxing evening over a quiet drink, the three in the picture, (Left to Right) Mariam, Dauca, & Amy, are from Guinea, and another friend was from Ivory Coast and another was French Moroccan. Talking to them was a pleasure, learning where they were from and what they were intending to do with their life in the future.

People from all over the world come to London to work and study just like these friends, Miriam studied Business in University, my conversation with her was very informative and meeting her and her friends made my evening more enjoyable.

A lot of younge people come to London, to gain knowledge and international experience, they then use what they have learnt and go back to their country to settle down and apply what they have learnt to help them achieve their goals and get what they want in life.

It’s nice to see and speak to people enjoying each others company that are from different places in the world, just a simple smile and a greeting opens up the world of different people, each and every one of them with stories and experiences to share with you.

Another way to almost ensure, you meet a variety of international travellers is to stay in a London Youth Hostel, London Hostels are the perfect meeting place, they have common rooms, lounges and games rooms all ideal to social network. London hostels are also great for group accommodation if your travelling with some friends or family.
