New York City Tour
An Ecstatic Tour to New York With Friends
This vacation, my friends and I visited New York. We were planning for this holiday for a long time and this time it finally worked. We had planned our travel well in advance. A wise thing indeed! I am glad to mention the whooping discounts we could get on the air tickets.
We loved the hotel we had selected. After unpacking and settling down, we were all set to start for an ecstatic tour to explore New York to its best. Visiting New York’s best destinations was an exciting experience. Like other tourists, we had Statue of Liberty on top of the list. The 305-inch, bronze-made first lady of USA, is worth a visit. We loitered here and there, had good time at different eating joints.
The major attractions in New York like Times Square, Brooklyn Bridge, Museum Mile, 40 Wall Street, Central Pak, Top of the Rock, etc made our trip a perfect memory, all captured in our camcorder. We found Times Square as an excitingly edgy district and we captured its beauty in the night, at its peak time. Brooklyn Bridge provi
ded a magnificent view of Manhattan skyline. We preferred walking across this less-than-a-mile bridge to have utmost pleasure.
We also learnt the history behind the construction of 40 Wall Street which is also known as “The Crown Jewel of Wall Street.” But it was the Central Park that came out to be a perfect tourist delight. This huge park spanned to more than 800 acres of land and serves as an inspiration to many other city parks around the world. The park boasts of lakes, ice rinks, fountains, theatres, tennis courts, playgrounds, baseball fields and other facilities. Chit chatting and thinking of the old college times here at this park added to the fun.
This tour ended in a short time and we came back to our hometown treasuring some unforgettable memories in our heart. No one knows how time slips by!
