Santa Cruz de la Sierra, dubbed as Santa Cruz is the biggest city in Bolivia in terms of population. It is also buzzing with modeling related activities in the context of Bolivian modelling industry. Bolivia and Santa Cruz especially is known for its traditional cooking which includes a lot of plantain, potatoes, rice and meat. History
The city was formed on February 26, 1561 by Ñuflo de Chávez, Spanish captain who named it in the honor of his native place in Spain. Holy Cross of the Hills is what the name of this beautiful city stands for.  Unlike its present location, banks of Piraí River, earlier the city existed around 200 miles away. It was moved 4 centuries ago to its present location. Santa Cruz has seen history from close quarters and is well connected to Argentina and Paraguay via these aspects.

Months of January and February receive the maximum rainfall during the year which makes travelling a bit inconvenient.
