Macau an amazing destination in Asia
Discover what makes Macau an Exciting Place To Visit

Many travellers always visit the same old holiday destinations like London, New York, Amsterdam, Rome and Barcelona to mention just a few, but it’s a good idea to take a look at new places.

While I was in Hong Kong on a stop over before heading off to Australia I decided to spend a few days in Macau, it was only a quick ferry ride from Hong Kong to Macau, within half an hour I was in Macao ready to enjoy everything on offer.

I had been hearing a lot of good things about Macau, and decided to spend a few days in Macau I stayed in one of the budget hotels in Macau, as I didn’t want to spend hundreds or dollars to stay in one of the luxury hotel & Casino Resorts, although I did enjoy looking around and having a drink in the bar.

Macau is a compact city so everything is within easy reach, the city has now over taken Vegas as being the top gaming destination in the world, but my visit wasn’t to try my luck at the tables but instead I wanted to check out what Macau had to offer and to take a look around the Macau Tower.

I’m not much of an adrenalin junkie so I didn’t try the Bungee jump from the top of the Macau Tower, although there were plenty of people who did enjoy the thrill, I went up to the platform and the views where amazing.

I enjoyed looking around the shops in the Macau Tower. I also had a tasty meal while enjoying the great view from the observation deck, you could see for miles as it was a beautiful clear day.

Another area that is a must visit in Macau is the Central square called Senado Square, the paving is a beautiful mosaic wave pattern in black and white, there are many shops, boutiques, restaurants and cafes as well as a amazing church and great architecture to look at.

Macau also offers visitors a lot of historical monuments and temples. The city offers holiday makers an ideal combination of traditional culture and monuments with modern shops, entertainment and state of the art gaming.
