On February 14th every year across the world from Lovers in London, Romantics in Rome, Proposals in Paris to Newly Weds in New York, in cities from Dublin, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Krakow, Lagos, Hanoi, Cape Town and nearly every city and country in between people are celebrating this yearly Day for Lovers and Romantics “Valentine Day”

The day has not gone without some controversy, BBC News Reports

“The Chinese authorities are suspicious of the religious origins of the celebrations, while conservative Hindus in India consider Valentine's Day to be an alien Western import.

However, neither ideological objection nor militant intervention appears to have been able to check the growing international popularity of this day”

Shops, Restaurants, Bars and Night Clubs are packed with happy Couples enjoying some special time together, not forgetting the boom in weekend breaks in Hostels, budget hotels, bed and breakfast and luxury 5 star hotels in every corner of the world, champagne flows, flowers are and chocolates are exchanged and that’s just for starters.
