Worlds fastest train in Japan
Japan Maglev trains get the go ahead today.
Japan's first maglev train service will be run by Central Japan Railway, and their aim is for the first part of the Maglev track to be completed in 14 years in 2025, and the Maglev trains will run between Tokyo and the central city of Nagoya, but many train enthusiast and fanatics watch eagerly as the train speeds by and imagine what it will be like to travel on such a futuristic super fast train, the Maglev is so fast its almost impossible to photograph.
Japan’s Maglev Train, which is the World’s fastest land vehicle with a top speed recorded of 581 Kilometres per hour (361 Miles Per Hour), The Maglev Train travels along the tracks without touching the ground, the Train uses electric-powered magnets which allows the train magnetically levitate above the tracks allowing for the super fast speed with minimal or no resistance as the train floats above the tracks.
It is this type of technological advancements that are making travel faster, easier and hopefully affordable for the masses as time goes by, we have seen this when it comes to air travel with the introduction of budget airlines, hopefully these new type of trains will help travel become more accessible and affordable for everyone, while at the same time bringing the world closer together.
High speed rail already exists in Japan and China as well as in Europe with the Euro Star London, Lille, Brussels & Paris and TGV trains in France, the advantage of the Maglev train in comparison is that they are potentially faster, quieter and will use less energy to run, as the majority of energy used to run trains, is to overcome air drag, which is substantially less for a levitating Maglev train compared to a conventual train.
