History
Turrbal people were the first one to settle down in the city of Brisbane and called the area as Mian-jin. After that, the European settlement in the region started discovering various sites. Popular Places
Mt Coot-tha is the tallest mountain in the city and one of the best tourist spots to visit. Apart from offering wonderful view of the city, the mountain also accommodates botanical gardens and a planetarium. New Farm Park is another interesting tourist sport, featuring rose gardens and long rows of jacaranda trees. Roma Street Parklands can be visited to explore nearly 2000 plant species.
