Angra dos Reis is a municipality based in the densely populated state of Rio de Janeiro. A municipality is the smallest political, administrative division in Brazil. It is often simply called as Angra. History
The small city of Angra dos Reis was discovered in 1502, but the initial wave of settlement happened post 1556. The name of this city refers to - Kings' Creek.
