Busy Coastal City Buzios in Brazil
Armação dos Búzios or simply Buzios is a busy coastal city, in the Rio de Janeiro State of Brazil. It is basically a resort town, which attracts tourists from all over the world, especially from Argentina. It is also a new popular destination for cruise ships.
History
Located 169 kilometers north-east of Rio de Janeiro (capital city), it was once home to preserves of pirates and slave traders culture. It is known for its beaches and coastline. de Tomé and São Vicente were transformed into the state of Rio de Janeiro, around 1555.

The most popular places in the city of Buzios are its beaches. They are breath-taking. There are overall 24 beaches in number. Now-a-days, country’s rich folks are settling in the country, and the fusion of modern and ancestral archaeological structure is on display.
Getting Around
There is a bus network which connects major places within the city and to the other major cities as well. Taxis are available. It is better to have a
guide in an unknown place, which may help you with transportation and visiting tourist places also.
Places of Entertainment
There are plenty of restaurants, and shopping places which are in different parts of the city. The nightlife of the city is absolute rocking, and for the party people, it is one of the major attractions of the city. Beaches are there for peace of mind, as well as for adventure sports, which some of the beaches offer. Special boat trips are available in the beaches, which take you to an island. Fresh fruits and optional swimming in between is offered. Scuba Diving and Surf Lessons is a couple of very well developed adventure sports in the place.
Annual Jazz Festival is an annual Jazz festival which runs for four days in late July. Around 6 night-clubs play music all through the night to celebrate this festival, which adds carnival flavor to the country.
Eating and shopping are the other two important activities. The notorious eating places are known for their wonderful, but expensive food. New, pay-by-the-kilo scheme is coming up these days in the city. Shopping is another great venture in the place. Bikini shops are very famous along the beach. Since the nightlife is very well developed, there are lots of options for having drinks, both alcoholic beverages, and non-alcoholic beverages.
