For those who do not have a car upon coming to E.Gwada, we offer transport from the airport for 25 euros one-way, as long as available. If you wish to take this option you must either write to us by email or phone us to book the transfer. Otherwise we also have a taxi that can be booked for 35 euros, which also requires booking in advance. The regular taxi price from Pointe a Pitre airport to our hostel is a minimum of 50 euros. The distance from Pointe a Pitre to here is roughly 10 kilometres, so if you are driving yourself go on the main road and head in the direction of Gosier. After Gosier it is about 2.5 kilometres and you continue going straight (do not turn where it says Gosier Centre) for Mare Gaillard. You will see signs. Upon reaching the town you will take the first right, and up the hill you will see a church on your left, you follow the road and when you reach the road called Impasse de la Chapelle, you take the right on the Y. Continue going on straight and go around the corner (you can only go left!) and after 10 seconds you will reach a steep downwards slope which leads you directly to the gate of E.Gwada!
