Forrest Hotel is a small family hotel, which will offer you not only comfortable accommodation with unconventional interior decor but above all clean natural environment suitable for jogging, biking, roller skating or walking in the park or along the Vltava river. Our hotel is situated in a unique environment of wider Prague centre right on the edge of a sights preserve of the nature park Stromovka. How to Get There
Although when you look at the hotel surroundings you might think that it is a place out in the country far from a city, the opposite is true. A very good strategic position of our hotel will enable you to get to the city center within a few minutes. Getting to the airport is a matter of 20 minutes.
From the airport:
- take the bus No. 119 until the last stop and then take metro at the Dejvická station.
- from the Dejvicka station with the metro first station to the Hradcanska station
- then 2 stops by bus no. 131 to Nádraží Bubeneč stop. A few tens of meters back along the railway tracks and by stone gate to Stromovka Park. Then left upstairs and after 100 meters you will see us. It is also possible to walk from Hradčanská Station, it takes about 10 minutes.
By car:
- from highway D1 continue on the expressway past the Main Station north through the city center across Hlávkův Bridge, along Bubenská Street, after going across a railway crossing slightly left and then straight along the street Za elektrárnou along the river to the very end of the road where you will find yourself right at Forrest Hotel and to the parking lot.
- from highway D5 towards Letenská pláň to Milady Horákové Street, continue along Veletržní, Dukelských hrdinů, turn left past the Exhibition Grounds to Za elektrárnou Street and then along the river straight to Forrest Hotel.
- from highway D8 to V Holešovičkách Street, cross the river, turn right past Holešovice Railway Station, turn right before the Exhibition Grounds to Za elektrárnou Street and continue along the river straight to Forrest Hotel.
By Public Transportation:
- Subway (Metro) – line A (green) to Hradčanská station (approx. 10 minutes from the center) and then 2 stops by bus no. 131 to Nádraží Bubeneč stop. A few tens of meters back along the railway tracks and by stone gate to Stromovka Park. Then left upstairs and after 100 meters you will see us. It is also possible to walk from Hradčanská Station, it takes about 10 minutes.
- Train – train transportation to our hotel is unique, a ride from Bubeneč station to the very historic center of Prague takes only 10 minutes. The train is part of public city transportation. Public transportation tickets can be used.
