About This Hostel
Welcome to Grund Hostel Budapest! If you are looking for a place that is close to the best locations of Budapest and offers a relaxed accommodation with a unique environment, book here.
Our Hostel is located on the first floor of a 19th century building just 3 minutes away from Nagykörút, the Grand Boulvard of the Budapest. Take the metro or the tram to quickly submerge in the inner city life, it's only 3 stops. If you're fit enough, you can even walk it. Nice rooms, a cool community area, a sunny terrace and our small pub with its own garden downstairs will help you enjoy your stay with your friends and fellow travellers.

What do we have, what do we offer?
- Clean doubles and dorm beds in 4 and 6-bed rooms – each coming with its own bathroom
- Security lockers for each bed, a separate entrance for each room from the open corridor of the hostel building
- Community area with a fully equipped kitchen to have your meal and a spacious area to relax, talk, play, watch TV or read a book. Free internet is also available here
- In spring and summer you may use our large terrace or the sunny open corridor to have your breakfast or just relax
- You may even have a beer under the trees of our garden downstairs and meet some locals who come by in the evening
- Breakfast, tea and coffee to start your day before the sightseeing. Moreover, tips and maps from our staff will help you to have a good time in town

Cancellation Policy
You must give us 24 Hours notice of any change and/or cancellation of your booking, otherwise you will be charged for the first night of your stay and any remaining nights will be cancelled.

How to Get There
Grund Hostel Budapest is easy to access from the airport and from the three main railway stations.
Train
1. Nyugati pályaudvar (Nyugati Railway Station)
If you arrive at Nyugati pályaudvar, get on tram 4 or 6 and go seven stops towards Boráros tér.Get off at Ferenc körút. From here a three minute walk will take you to our hostel. Come up from the undercrossing at „Üllői út páros oldal", and stay on your left. Walk until you reach the 4th street that is Nagytemplom street. Take a left turn and another 50 m walk will take you to the entrance of Grund Hostel. It is right behind and old single-storied building.
Travel fare: you need to buy one full-fare ticket which costs 290 HUF (1.0 EUR).
Travel time: 20 minutes.
2. Keleti pályaudvar (Keleti Railway Station)
Option 1:
Take metro 2 (M2, red line) and go to Blaha Lujza square. Change for tram No 4 or 6. Go three stops and get off at Ferenc körút.
From here a three minute walk will take you to our hostel. Come up from the undercrossing at „Üllői út páros oldal", and stay on your left. Walk until you reach the 4th street that is Nagytemplom street. Take a left turn and another 50 m walk will take you to the entrance of Grund Hostel. It is right behind an old single-storied building.
Travel fare: you need to buy one section ticket for the metro and one full-fare ticket for the tram for altogether 530 HUF (1.7 EUR).
