About This Hostel
The HaShimi Hotel is the only hotel in the core or "heart" of the Old City of Jerusalem. The building itself is over 400 years old! But you wouldn't know it once you're inside. The very modern and artistic interior features marble floors, stairs and railings. The entire hotel's color scheme is beautifully done in whites, beiges and maroons, with rich gold detailing. This very attractive and effective design was coordinated by Alan Salhab and his brother Ashruff throughout the hotel to radiate the warmth of Old City Jerusalem luxury.

The HaShimi Hotel can accommodate many different guest groupings with single, double, triple and quad bed room arrangements. If requested, the single beds can be made into Queen-sized beds.
Rules You Can Sleep By!
There are three understandable rules at the HaShimi Hotel which are imposed by the management to ensure the rest and comfort of all the guests. I admit the rules may discourage a small percent of the world's population from staying at HaShimi Hotel, but many of us will truly appreciate them. They are:
1. The HaShimi Hotel is totally alcohol free.
2. Smoking is not permitted within the sleeping rooms.
3. Co-habitation by unmarried couples is not allowed. They must have separate rooms. (However, the HaShimi Hotel's romantic location and decor make it a very popular Honeymoon Destination.) You can exchange major currencies at the front desk.

Cancellation policy
You must give us 24 hours notice of any change and/or cancellation of your booking, otherwise you will be charged for the first night of your stay and any remaining nights will be cancelled.
