Hostel Gaia Porto is located in a privileged zone of the Historical Center of the City of Gaia, exactly in front of the magnificent City of the Porto, separated only by the Douro River.

Hostel Gaia Porto is a friendly house, where you can spend a good time with your friends, with your girlfriend/boyfriend, or with your husband/wife.

Guests can use our kitchen to make themselves their meals, and our laundry to wash their own clothes. Every night we will have thematic partys, where guests can taste a little of our dishes and our culture.

We have also a common area, where guests can watch TV,DVD, or just relax and play a traditional game, available. Guests can catch up with friends and family over the internet because we have two internet points in the common area and free Wifi in every places in the house, even in the garden.

Hostel Gaia Porto  has a panoramic garden, with the best views to Douro River and Oporto City and Monuments, where you can take beautiful photos, or you can just relax and enjoy the fantastic music show, for free, from the seagulls that leave near the Douro River. You will find in this garden, an aromatic garden, where you can find several spices that you can use in your dishes, and the cactus place, the passion of one of the owners.

Gaia Oporto Hostel is located in the historic center of Gaia, just in the other side of the Douro River you can see Oporto city, and the best monuments. We are 5min walking from Douro River and Cais de Gaia,where you can take a boat and travel around the river, where you have several Wine Cellars to taste the best Port Wine, and where you can find several restaurantes featuring cuisine from across the world and bars. We are 5 min. walking from the General Torres Metro and Train Station. You can take the tube right to the Oporto Center, in 7min, where you can visit Clérigos Tower and S. Bento Station (see the beautiful tiles - Portugal history). If you are a football fan, in 15min, you go to Dragon Stadium and you can see FC Porto playing. You can even catch the train, to visit the best beaches and some beautiful cities in the North of the country, like Guimarães.
