Jardin Tropical is in Bujumbura, Mutanga Sud, a quiet and safe residential area, within the United Nations security zone, between the bridges, 2 km from the city center and 10 km from the airport. There are many restaurants and shops within walking distance. Taxis are available. On the Boulevard du 28 Novembre, in Mutanga Sud going towards Mutanga Nord, take a right immediately at the "Concorde" gaz station (before the Ntahangwa bridge).
