About This Hostel
Locomotive Light Hostel

Our Hostel is located in the downtown area, close to the International Train Station called Keleti Pu. An ideal place for your crawls in the City surrounded by lots of pubs, restaurants, cafes, nightclubs, a post office and 24 hour grocery shop, all important things you might need during your stay in Budapest.
The very central location and the proximity to the underground stations and numerous tram and bus lines make the Hostel a prime choice for those looking for convenience and comfort. Historical and cultural attractions as well as the business and shopping centre of Budapest are within walking distance.

Facilities
We offer you nice and clean double rooms and four and six bedded rooms with a really pleasant atmosphere. There are clean, shared and own bathrooms. After a hard day or a hard night you can watch SAT-TV from the comfort of your bed. We offer you a clean and newly renovated mixed dormitory (6 beds) with shared bathrooms as well.
There is an equipped kitchen in the Hostel, you can find there a stove, fridge, freezer, microwave oven, coffee machine, toaster, washing machine, dishes, plates, etc..., coffee, tea and cacao are FREE ! Other food and drinks you can buy downstairs in the non-stop supermarket.
We provide 24 hours FREE INTERNET access, CABLE TV and 24 hours hot & cold water. The Locomotive Hostel's common room is well equipped and decorated, helping to provide an easygoing atmosphere where we can make your stay fun and memorable.
We offer you a cheap airport pickup and free pickup from the train station.
We will invite our guests for a free Welcome Drink like Palinka, Tokaji or Locomotive Cocktail.

How to Get There
The Hostel is located just a stones throw from the main International Train Station called Keleti Pu.
- From the Airport you can get to the Hostel if you use the BUS 200 to Kobanya Kispest Metro Station, then travel by Metro III. to Deak Ter (Blue Line Metro). Then change the Metro for the Red Line Metro, and travel three stops to Keleti Train Station. Exactely there is Locomotive Light Hostel. You can find the entrance at Grand Hotel Hungaria on the oposite side of the road, called Rakoczi Ut.
- From the International Bus Station you can get to the Hostel if you use the Blue Line Metro and travel to Deak Ter. Change the Blue Metro Line for the Red Metro Line and travel three stops to Keleti Train Station and you have arrived to the Hostel.
- From Keleti Train Station just walk to the Hostel. The distance is only 200 meters. You can find our Hostel near to the main entrance of GRAND HOTEL HUNGARIA, on the oposite side of the road, on the left side, under the big sign on the roof : CANON. The entrance is at the AVON shop, bell is 14.
