Simurg Hostel is run by a young and international group of people who have lived in Istanbul for a long time that decided to create a nice place to relax from the hustle and bustle of Istanbul. The Simurg hostel is in a really central place (Balo Sokak/Taksim), off a side street from Istikal in the heart of the young center of Istanbul.

Guest at Simurg Hostel can choose between dorm rooms, double or single bed rooms with or without bathroom ensuite. And yet you won't waste your entire holiday budget on accommodation. Our cafe and kitchen  are ready with breakfast, coffee and tea all inclusive in the price.

Cancelation Policy

You must give the accommodation at least 48 Hours notice of any change and/or cancellation of  your booking, otherwise you will be charged for the 1 night’s room charge and any remaining nights will be cancelled, for No show you will be charged 1 night’s room charge.

To arrive SIMURG HOSTEL From Sabiha Gökçen Airport
First Option: You can use the paid shuttle service (Havaş) provided by Turkish Airlines to come to TAKSİM. The ticket for the Havaş bus is approximately 7 €. When you arrive Taksim, you'll see a wide street crowded with people and called İstiklal Caddesi. If you won't see it, you can ask anybody for it is a very well known street. Keep on Istiklal Street approximately for 5 minutes and you'll see the huge white building on your right: Demirören Shopping Mall. The second road after passing the shopping mall is called BALO sokak. Keep in mind that there is HALK BANK on the corner of the road. Just turn right from here. After a short walk on Balo street take the first right. This street is called Büyük Bayram Sokak. And you'll see the huge odda HOTEL on your left once you enter Büyük Bayram Street. SIMURG HOSTEL will appear after a few steps on your right: Number 13.
