Adventure Hostel JFK/NYC is located near the start of the "l" subway train in Brooklyn.

We are close to Canarsie Pier and Jamaica Bay Nature Preserve, about 30 minutes from Manhattan and 40 minutes from Times Square. You can also easily get to Brighton beach and Coney Island. We are a small hostel accommodating less than 15 people, located on the 3rd floor of a walk-up apartment building.

We have a large common area with a 42 inch television, complete with numerous cable and movie channels, as well as video games. We have two balcony terraces, a beautiful kitchen with a skylight, free Wi-Fi and a computer in the common area for guests to share, free of charge. Many guests aren't aware that New York City offers many sporting opportunities such as kayaking, jet skiing, sailing, rock climbing, canoeing, as well as many trails for jogging and running or to just enjoy beautiful nature walks.

If you are a traveller who is more art inclined, then there are many opportunities that allow you to "drop in" and take a guest class in acting, singing, painting or dance. For some guests, finding historical movie or television location spots is an adventure. We will help you find the places that you have seen on film... or possibly be able to guide you to where something is currently filming.

We also have movie stars appearing on Broadway all the time and it is not impossible to meet one get their autograph, and possibly even have your picture taken with them…If you know how to do it! We will help you.

Accommodation Information
We have one six bed dorm and one 8 bed dorm. Our 8 bed dorm has its own balcony terrace and ½ bathroom. We also have a full bathroom available to everyone.

Rates do not include New York State and Local taxes 14.75%+$3.50 per room per night

Location Information
We are located at 538 East 86th Street #3, in Brooklyn, New York. We are near the intersection of East 86th street and Foster Avenue. We are walking distance from the start of the "L" train at Canarsie/Rockaway Parkway.

Cancellation Policy

You must give the accommodation at least 48 Hours notice of any change and/or cancellation of your booking, otherwise you will be charged for the 1 night's room charge and any remaining nights will be cancelled.

Adventure Hostel JFK/NYC a Cheap and Inexpensive Place to Stay in New York USA

The best way to get to us is to use the subway by taking the "A" train until you get to Broadway Junction and then transferring (free) to the "L" train headed to Canarsie/Rockaway Parkway, which is the final stop for the train. We are about a 10-15 minute walk from there. Leaving the subway station, turn right and walk past Smith's Lane to the stoplight at Farragut Road. At Farragut Road turn left and walk down to 86th Street. At 86th Street turn right, and walk until you find us at #538 which is on the left side of the road. Ring the buzzer for #3 and then come up to the third floor.
