Hotel Royal Qosqo grounds were once part of the palace of the Inca Pachacutec, the most important Inca leader, who conquered most of the extensive territories of the Inca empire, Tahuantinsuyo.

In Spanish colonial times some of the most important Conquistadores lived here. The building was still in the hands of the same owners, the Cavero family, when it was rebuilt as a hotel in 1947. It was then sold to the current owners, the Ormachea Zuzunaga family, in 1969.

It was known as Hotel Bolivar until 1987, when it was extensively renovated and took its current name of Royal Qosqo.

Staying at Hotel Royal Qosqo allows guest to experience the culture and traditions of Cusco Peru, while being with easy access to all the sights and places to visit.

We are located just 120 meters from the Plaza de Armas (main square) of Cusco, surrounded by all kinds of facilities such as restaurants, bars, and souvenir and jewelry shops. All the main attractions of Cusco, the archaeological capital of the Americas, are within easy walking distance. From Plaza de Armas when you see the Cathedral in front, then left side is the Procuradores street, walk until the enn of street, then left again.
