Backpackers Cusco Peru Hostel has a capacity of a maximum of 70 people. All our rooms are spacious and very comfortable; there are bathrooms for gentlemen and ladies. It is located in the southeast of the city about 15 minutes from the downtown. To get there is very easy, although the taxi rates are much higher than the ones from the city. Once the tourist arrives there, they will find lots of taxis offering their services. One can bargain the price of the rate, the price of transportation to any hotel in the downtown never go over 10 soles.

There are daily flights to Lima, as well as to Arequipa, Juliaca, and Puerto Maldonado. The connection flights abroad are very minimum. Right now all are made through Lloyd Aéreo Boliviano with La Paz as the main destination point, every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturdays.

By air: Domestic flights from Lima (1 hour) and from Arequipa (30 minutes) to Cusco.

By land: Lima - Arequipa – Cusco 1650 km (26 hours by car)
Lima – Nazca – Puquio – Abancay – Cusco: 1131 km (20 hours by car)
Puno – Cusco: 389 km (07 hours by car)

By train: Regular service Puno – Cusco: 384 km (10 hours).
