About This Hostel
The Hostel Galla, newly built hostel is situated behind Via Nicola Porpora, in a small private road (Via Galla Placidia, 5). Our hostel is the perfect solution for those seeking peace and quiet, something hard to find in the chaos of a big city like Milan. In fact, thanks to location, near the Tangenziale East and Piazza Loreto (City University), you can reach easily by subway and / or media surface, all the main areas of Milan: the Cathedral, the Sforzesco´ Castle, the Fiera Milano in Rho Pero, etc.
Hostel Galla is also very near to the most important hospital of the city (San Raffaele - Centro Tumori Besta - Clinica Santa Rita). We offer special conditions to all guests that come to make examinations in these specialized structures.

For customers who reach our hostel by car, you can park thirty meters in a garage open 24 hours. Our hostel offers single, double and family of three or four people and one big room for six persons at very competitive prices.

You must give us 24 Hours notice of any change and/or cancellation of your booking, otherwise you will be charged for the first night of your stay and any remaining nights will be cancelled.

How to Get There
By plane
From the Malpensa airport, there are two ways to reach the airport:
1) Take the Malpensa Express train to the Cadorna stop, then take the metro, green-line 2 in the direction of Cascina Gobba/Gessate/Cologno and get off at the Lambrate Station [11 stops];
Walk for 500 meters across Piazza Gobetti, along Via Porpora until you reach the intersection with Via Padre Giovanni Battista Martini, here turn left and a few meters turn left again in Via Galla Placida where at number 5 you will find our hostel.
2) Take the Shuttle offered by "Autostradale" which will take you to the Central Train Station. Then take the 33 tram in the direction of Rimembranze Lambrate and get off at the stop in Via Porpora to the crossroad Via Teodosio.
Go back a few meters until you cross Via Padre Giovanni Battista Martini, turn left and a few meters turn left again in Via Galla Placida where at number 5 you will find our hostel.
From Milan´s Linate airport, take Bus 73 to its last stop (Piazza San Babila), change to the metro red-line 1 in the direction of Sesto FS, and get off at Piazza Loreto [4 stops]. Walk down Via Porpora (about 800 meters), once cross Via Padre Giovanni Battista Martini, turn right and a few meters turn left in Via Galla Placida where at number 5 you will find our hostel.
From Bergamo´s Orio al Serio airport, get the "Autostradale" Shuttle to the Central Railway Station.
From here take the 33 tram in the direction of Rimembranze Lambrate and get off at the stop in Via Porpora to the crossroad Via Teodosio.
Go back a few meters until you cross Via Padre Giovanni Battista Martini, turn left and a few meters turn left again in Via Galla Placida where at number 5 you will find our hostel.

By car
Leave the Tangenziale Est highway at Lambrate [Exit 8].
Then, turn to your left at the light and go down through Via Rombon.
After the tunnel, going straight along Via Porpora.
After about 200 meters, having exceeded 2 traffic lights, crossroads Via Padre Giovanni Battista Martini; here turn left and a few meters turn left again in Via Galla Placida where at number 5 you will find our hostel.
