City of Moshi in Tanzania – Home of Chagga and Massai Tribes

A town housing around 150,000 people in Kilimanjaro Region, City Moshi in Tanzania is located on the lower slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro. It is a volcanic mountain and also the highest in Africa. Home to the Chagga and Maasai tribes, the city is located on the road from Arusha to Mombasa in Kenya.

Located on the east west road from Arusha to Mombassa in Kenya, the city is also adjacent to the intersection of the B1 north-south road that connects Tanga and Dar es Salaam.
