We are just a few steps away from the great church dedicated to Santo Domingo, an impressive structure surrounded by an indigenous crafts market. We are just 5 minutes walking from the main square where you will find restaurants, stores, cafes, bars and clubs. The fruits and vegetables market of the city is also located near from the hostel.

Backpackers is a hostel located just two blocks from the main and popular indigenous market in one of the oldest, historical and safest neighborhoods of San Cristobal de las Casas, in the south-east of Mexico.

Rossco Backpackers Hostel, built in the 19th century, has a colonial architecture with gorgeous and colorful gardens. Now, it is part of the historical monuments of the city. This old construction was adapted in order to make a comfortable, colorful and nice hostel using the entire colonial and typical style.
