Welcome to The Phileas Fogg Bed & Breakfast in Brussels! We might not be the best, nor the most strictly organised, but certainly the warmest welcome in Brussels, and the quirkiest designs, is what you will find here.

We offer you the following types of rooms:

'The Blue Room' - a Japanese bridal kimono on the wall, an antique Indian mirror on the chimney, African antiques and a Japanese bed, purple-blue walls and blue curtains brought home from the Touaregs in Niger. A Starck shower, red brick walls, teak furniture and an italian tile-floor create the setting for an eccentric fully equipped bathroom.

'The Mezzanine' - so called because of its mezzanine level - a modern shower and over its copper sink a mirror I bought in Mexico back in 1985, a most comfortable double bed and an antique Indian cabinet.

'The Brown Room' - Brown as for the curtains, brown as well on the walls, brown is the color of the sofa and equally sets the tone of the primitive Moroccan painting.

'The Ensuite Room' - two communicating rooms can easily accommodate a family of four.

We are able to welcome you in 7 + 1 languages: Dutch, French, English, German, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian are all spoken fluently - 'hottentot' (my daughter's sounds) for the smaller ones.

If you are looking for a sterile place, this would not be your choice

Cancellation policy

You must give us 24 hours notice of any change and/or cancellation of your booking, otherwise you will be charged for the first night of your stay and any remaining nights will be cancelled.

Please check with the Management of the Hostel after you have received your booking has been confirmed, to confirm the most up to date Cancellation Policy.
